FOR REV. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. OBSERVANCE

Live with Cardinal Bevilacqua Radio Show - 5:00 p.m. WZZD 990 AM
A Tribute to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - In celebration of the national holiday, Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua will discuss Dr. King's legacy of peace. Guest is Mr. William Collins, former member of the Cardinal's Commission on Human Relations.

Cardinal Bevilacqua will be available to the media at the radio show, at WZZD-AM Studios, 117 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. The show airs from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

More than 500 teenage volunteers, members of the Community Service Corps of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, will volunteer their services at the following locations:

Simon Gratz High School, 18th Street and Hunting Park Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19140
9 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Little Flower and Roman Catholic High School students will participate in cleaning project.

St. Malachy School, 1419 N. 11th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122
10 a.m. - 12 noon - Gwynedd-Mercy Academy students along with 7th and 8th grade students from St. Malachy's will be cleaning the school building, sprucing-up the play yard, etc..

Habitat for Humanity, 1117 Arch Street, Norristown, PA
9:30 a.m. - 12 noon - Gwynedd-Mercy Academy students will be doing repairs and fixing up.

Nativity BVM School, Belgrade and Allegheny Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134
10:00 a.m. - 12 noon - John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School students will be cleaning up and fixing things

St. Francis Xavier School, 24th and Green Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19130
10:00 a.m. - 12 noon - John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School students will be cleaning up and fixing things

St. Mary School, 172 Conarroe Street, Philadelphia, PA 19127
10:00 a.m. - 12 noon - John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School students will be cleaning up and fixing things

St. Maria Goretti High School, 10th and Moore Sts., Philadelphia, PA 19148
9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. - Students from St. Maria Goretti and St. John Neumann High Schools will be cleaning up the school.

St. John Neumann High School, 26th and Moore Sts., Philadelphia, PA 19145
10:30 a.m. - 12 Noon - Students from St. Maria Goretti and St. John Neumann High Schools will be cleaning up the school.

Mater Dolorosa School, Paul and Ruan Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19124
10:00 a.m. - 12 noon - Nazareth Academy and Holy Ghost Preparatory students will be painting and cleaning up

Christ the King Church, Morrell Avenue and Chesterfield Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19114
10:00 a.m. - 12 noon - Archbishop Ryan students will be cooking meals for the AID FOR FRIENDS project

St. Joseph Preparatory School , 17th and Girard Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130
9:30 a.m. - Students from Merion Mercy Academy and St. Joseph Preparatory School will meet at St. Joseph's Prep before departing to neighborhood elderly residents homes to help clean

Unity Center, 7th Street and Sproul Road, Chester, PA
9 a.m. - 12 noon - Cardinal O'Hara High School students will be working with the Unity Center in the city of Chester on various projects

St. Charles Borromeo Parish, 20th and Christian Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19146
10:00 a.m. - 12 noon - Archbishop Wood High School students will be cleaning and painting
