Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will celebrate a mass honoring altar servers from Montgomery County, Bucks County, and Philadelphia-North Vicariates.

More than 1000 altar servers are expected to attend the Mass. One altar server from each parish will receive a special honor from Cardinal Bevilacqua. Music will be provided by the Archdiocesan Boys Choir.

The Mass for altar servers is the start of Vocation Awareness Week in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, February 7 through February 12, 1999. There will be several events in Archdiocesan High Schools throughout the week. In addition, the February 8, 1999 edition of Cardinal Bevilacqua's weekly call-in radio show, Live with Cardinal Bevilacqua, will focus on the importance of vocations. Live with Cardinal Bevilacqua is broadcast every Monday on WZZD 990-AM, from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
