Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will ordain ten men to the priesthood on

Ordination will take place during the Mass, following the homily. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to a parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.

Those being ordained are: Rev. Mr.William G. Ayres, Rev. Mr. Philip G. Bochanski, Rev. Mr. John R. DiOrio, Rev. Mr. Matthew W. Guckin, Rev. Mr. Brian P. Hennessy, Rev. Mr. Joseph C. McCaffrey, Rev. Mr. Patrick S. McManus, Rev. Mr. John C. Nguyen, Rev. Mr. Jeffrey M. Stecz, and Rev. Mr. Christopher M. Walsh.
