Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will join with students from thirty parish elementary and Archdiocesan high schools for the "Rally for School Choice." This spirited event recognizes and celebrates the gift of Catholic Education. The theme is "The Father Loves Us."

The Rally will take place on

Cardinal Bevilacqua and Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Mark Schweiker will address the students, teachers and parents. Monsignor Philip J. Cribben, Secretary for Catholic Education, elected officials and dignitaries, pastors from neighboring parishes and members of the Archdiocesan community will attend the event.

Festivities include music from Archbishop Ryan and Archbishop Wood High School Bands, a "Spirit Dance" and cheers by Conwell-Egan students, and a roll call of the participating schools.

Directions to Conwell-Egan High School
From Pennsylvania Turnpike - Take Exit 29, which is the last exit before New Jersey. Take the Levittown Ramp onto Rte. 13 North. Go to the first light and make a left onto Green Lane. Follow Green Lane to the second light (Emilie Road). Make a right onto Emilie Road. Go to intersection - Five Points. Bear to the right, but do not make a hard right. This is New Falls Road. Go to the next light which is Wistar Road. Make a left onto Wistar Road and the school is a half block down on the right.

From I-95 - Take I-95 to Route 413 and make a left onto Route 413N. Go 3 lights to New Falls Road. Turn right onto New Falls Road and go 5 lights to Wistar Road. Turn left onto Wistar Road. School is half block down on the right.

From Route 1 - Take Route 1 North to Woodbourne Road. (McCafferty Ford is on your right). Turn right and go 3 lights to New Falls Road. The Golden Dawn Diner will be on your left. Turn left and go to the next light which is Wistar Road. Turn left onto Wistar Road. School is half block down on the right.
