The Archdiocese of Philadelphia Office for Youth and Young Adults is sponsoring its largest Catholic youth rally ever!! An incredibly exciting event, featuring 5 great bands, barbecues, hot air balloon rides, fireworks, amazing prayer under the stars, and Mass with Cardinal Bevilacqua! Saturday July 22 - Sunday July 23, 2000
Gwynedd-Mercy College
Gwynedd Valley, Pa.

The theme of the rally is "Let it begin with me. . . " as all activity and prayer will center around the challenge and pledge to become peacemakers in the world today. A Peace Park will be open from Saturday, July 22, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Attendees are invited to bring creative displays and activities that demonstrate "peace."

Saturday, July 22, 2000

4:00 p.m. Arrival at Gwyedd-Mercy College - Music on main stage - Peace Park opens (Ribbon-cutting) - Hot air balloon rides

5:00 p.m. Welcome/Blessing of the Groungd- VIP tent opens - Dinner

8:00 p.m. Peace Park closes and performances begin. Taking the stage will be: Steve Angrisano (a well recognized musician, composer, storyteller known for his unique presentations to youth groups), and other performers: Angela Crimi, Ceili Rain, Knowdaverbes

10:45 p.m. Fireworks

11:00 p.m. Amazing Prayer under the stars

1:00 a.m. Main stage/general programming ends
