CAMP OVERBROOK: IN SIGN 2001 BRINGS DEAF/HARD OF HEARING CHILDREN TOGETHER FOR SUMMER FUN
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia Deaf Apostolate will sponsor Camp Overbrook: In Sign 2001, a summer day camp for children who are deaf/hard of hearing. Approximately 50 children are pre-registered to attend this two week camp that provides an exciting and fun atmosphere and a sense of community.
Monday through Friday
July 16, 2001 to July 27, 2001
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary
Wynnewood, PA
Some of the daily events include religion class, arts and crafts, swimming, field activities and drama. There will also be magicians, a storyteller and a mime. Educators experienced in Sign Language direct the camp.
