Coatesville Catholic Service Center
605 East Lincoln Highway
Coatesville, Chester County

Reverend Monsignor Joseph T. Marino, Vicar for Chester County, will also participate in the blessing. The Coatesville site is located at the former Saint Cecilia Catholic School. This site works in client advocacy, financial assistance and language skills development in partnership with Chester County Department of Human Services. In addition, the social work staff offers life skills classes, nutrition (partnering with Archdiocesan Nutritional Development Services), computer literacy courses, and sewing classes.

Catholic Social Services (CSS) traces its origin to colonial Philadelphia. The ten agencies of CSS administer programs dedicated to serving men, women and children in need. They are an expression of the charitable works of the Archdiocese. Services include residential treatment programs for at-risk children, family preservation services, foster care, adoption, immigration services, counseling, senior citizen centers, programming for the elderly, transitional housing, homeless services and care for medically fragile men and women. CSS provides residential and community-based education programs to court-adjudicated youth, and sponsors residential and community-based care for persons who are developmentally delayed.
