ELEVATION OF CARDINAL-ELECT FOLEY
A group of approximately 100 Priests and Parishioners from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will be traveling to Rome to witness the Elevation of Archbishop John P. Foley, a native of Delaware County, to Cardinal. All depart from Philadelphia International Airport's International Terminal on:

Archbishop John P. Foley, a native of Delaware County, will be elevated to Cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI in Saint Peter's Square, Vatican City. The Consistory will be held on:

Pope Benedict XVI will celebrate Mass with new Cardinals (Mass of the Rings). Cardinal Foley will receive his ring, symbolizing his office as Cardinal, from Pope Benedict XVI. Cardinal Justin Rigali, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will also concelebrate Mass.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia will host a Mass of Thanksgiving in honor of Cardinal Foley on Thursday, December 13, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. All are welcome.
