ANTHONY ROSSI TO BE ORDAINED TO THE PRIESTHOOD

A native of North Wales, Pa., Rev. Mr. Rossi has been serving as deacon at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Warminster, Bucks County. He attended Saint John of the Cross, Roslyn, Pa.; and Bishop McDevitt, Wyncote, Pa. (2000) before enrollment at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood. Mr. Rossi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004 and Master of Divinity degree at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in 2008.

The homilist is Reverend Keith J. Chylinski. The deacons are Reverend Mr. James DeGrassa; Reverend Mr. John Krajczar; Reverend Mr. Michael Pawelko; and Deacon Francis Langsdorf. Concelebrants include Reverend Monsignor Thomas J. Duane; Reverend Monsignor Thomas P. Flanigan; Reverend Angelo R. Citino; Reverend Robert B. McDermott; and Reverend Kevin J. Gallagher.
There are six Archdiocese of Philadelphia men in the Class of 2009. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to an Archdiocesan parish where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.
