LANSDALE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL NAMED BY INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR LEADERSHIP IN EDUCATION AS ONE OF
THE NATION'S MODEL SCHOOLS

Administration to Present at the 18th Annual Model Schools Conference

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is proud to announce that Lansdale Catholic High School in Lansdale, Montgomery County has been chosen as one of 20 model schools in the country by the International Center for Leadership in Education. Model schools are selected annually by the International Center based on high student achievement, providing all students with a rigorous and relevant curriculum, personalized instruction, increased student learning time, parent and community involvement, use of data to make instructional decisions and other best practices.

"The administration and faculty of Lansdale Catholic have worked tirelessly to ensure that Lansdale Catholic High School remains on the cutting edge of education, focusing on both our students' academic enrichment and their moral and spiritual development," said Mary Rochford, Superintendent of Schools for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. "It is this drive for quality that inspired me to nominate Lansdale Catholic as one of the nation's model high schools."

In addition to being named a model school, Lansdale Catholic's administration has been asked to share their best practices at the 18th Annual Model Schools Conference from June 14 to June 17 in Orlando. Each year, the conference attracts thousands of educators, who come to learn about exemplary elementary, middle, high schools and career and technical education programs.

"We are delighted that this exceptional school will be sharing its best practices, which mirror the International Center's mission of providing a rigorous and relevant education to all students," said Willard R. Daggett, President of the International Center.
