ARCHDIOCESE SUPPORTS GROUP FOCUSED ON RESTORING STATE EITC FUNDING
Cardinal O'Hara High School Hosts Road to Educational Achievement through CHoice (REACH)
Town Hall Meeting to Promote School Choice

On Thursday, April 15 at 3:30 p.m., the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will support the REACH Foundation by hosting a town hall meeting at Cardinal O'Hara High School to support the organization's Operation Restore initiative, a campaign to restore funding for Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program.

Parents, students, business leaders and community members are all invited to take part in the town hall meeting to demonstrate community support for restoration of the EITC program to $75 million-the level at which it was funded in the 2007-2008 fiscal year.

The Educational Improvement Tax Credit provides companies with a tax credit for donations to a non-profit scholarship or educational improvement organization, providing children and families with a choice in their education.
