A native of Ridley Park, PA. Rev. Mr. DeGrassa has been serving as deacon at Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish in Warrington, Bucks County. He attended Cardinal O'Hara High School and earned Bachelor of Arts (2004), Master of Divinity (2009) and Master of Arts (2010) degrees from Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

The homilist is Reverend Monsignor James P. Matteo. Concelebrants include Reverend Monsignor James D. Beisel; Reverend Monsignor James P. Matteo; Reverend Monsignor Charles P. Vance; Reverend Michael H. Spitzer; and Reverend Louis P. Bellopede. The deacons are Deacon George E. Morris, Jr., and Deacon Gregory R. O'Brien.
There are six Archdiocese of Philadelphia men in the Class of 2010. At the end of May, each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to an Archdiocesan parish where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Cardinal to assist the pastor of a parish.
