Bishop John McIntyre To Bless
Holy Family Regional School Lunch Program

Bishop John J. McIntyre, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, will bless Holy Family Catholic Regional School's brand new school lunch program. Several students will participate in the blessing. The program is a part of the National School Lunch Program under the sponsorship of Nutritional Development Services (NDS) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. There are approximately 200 students at the school currently participating in the lunch program, which officially began on October 5, 2010.

Holy Family Regional School opened this September with a total enrollment of 534 students. The school was formed by the merger of Queen of the Universe, St. Francis Cabrini, Immaculate Conception and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Elementary Schools. Nutritional Development Services worked previously with two of the four merged schools that make up Holy Family Regional Catholic School. In the five-country region there are over 125 Archdiocesan Schools served by NDS. The School lunch program is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
