Saint Genevieve Church
1225 Bethlehem Pike
Flourtown, PA 19031 (Montgomery County)
The 8,800 square foot Church seats 500 parishioners and features new stone flooring, new stained glass windows (in progress), and a new entrance with an enlarged gathering area. The Church is also fully ADA compliant for access by parishioners with disabilities. The previous worship space was in need of much repair. The new design has curved, sail-like ceiling planes that lift the space up toward the center, where a new octagonal Sanctuary has been built along the North wall of the building. Pews are now grouped around the light-filled Sanctuary to gather parishioners around the new marble altar and ambo. The bright new sanctuary provides a beautiful focal point for the celebration of Mass.
